Lorick Spring 2010
Check out the ladylike feathers on model-turned-designer Abigail Lorick’s runway. If you’ve watched Gossip Girl, you may already be familiar with some of Abigail’s designs- Lorick’s pieces are used as Eleanor Waldorf’s collection on the show. Growing up on Amelia Island, Florida and admiring Scarlet O’Hara, Lorick’s collections are filled with southern grace and charm. Her collections are often embellished by hats, and while this season is no exception, feathers have been added to the models hair giving an air of prim and proper whimsy.
The feathers used on the runway are probably not available for sale, but you can shop a similar look at Perch.
Runway: Milly Spring 2010 RTW
To achieve this look first make a deep side part and gather all of the hair on the right side of the head and secure with a ponytail holder directly above the ear. Tie a large square of chiffon fabric at the base of the ponytail and spray the hair with Bumble and Bumble does it all styling spray to create texture and provide a lasting hold.

Diane Von Furstenberg Spring 2009
Diane Von Furstenberg debuted her spring 2009 collection complete with floral, bohemian headbands. According the InStyle, Von Furstenberg calls her latest collection “an homage to [legendary fashion editor] Diana Vreeland who taught us we could be goddesses and rock stars.”
